Artist in Community Program 2015 to 2016

Bringing the arts to children in need remains an enduring pillar of Project Yes’ organizational mission as it is our creativity that allows us to explore new possibilities for ourselves and our lives that lead to lasting societal change. This process speaks to the core work of breaking intergenerational cycles of poverty and violence that afflict many of our community’s children. Over the coming 2015 to 2016 school year Project Yes will be partnering with EFAA, SPAN, Boulder Juvenile Detention Facility, MESA, Attention Homes among others to deliver high-quality drop-in arts enrichment and social emotional learning opportunities. Our workshops over the coming year focus on creating a sense of safety, coping skills and inspiration for a better future for vulnerable children in transition. We look forward to a bright year with a wonderful and dedicated staff
