SeLebration 2012: Global Youth Service Day with Project YES
Help Us Celebrate 10 Years on April 21st!

Recognizing the importance of service and community engagement of young people, Project YES will participate in Global Youth Service Day by hosting our 10th annual SeLebration event on Saturday, April 21st 2012!  SeLebration is a day of service, learning, and fun where volunteers from all over Boulder County will participate in gardening, spring clean-up, public art, and a variety of other service projects throughout Lafayette and surrounding areas.  After service projects are completed, volunteers are invited to an afternoon program  which includes Lafayette Youth Recognition Awards and carnival.  A light breakfast and lunch is available for all volunteers! Registration is from 8:30-9:30 and the event goes until early afternoon.

Timeline

8:30-9:30 am: Registration and Breakfast
9:30-9:45 am: Travel to Sites
9:45-11:45 am: Work at Sites
11:45 am-12 pm: Travel back to Pioneer
12-1 pm: Lunch and Celebration
1-1:30: Closing ceremony
1:30-2pm: Optional participation in anti-domestic violence rally and march
