Project YES (Youth Envisioning Social change) provides leadership opportunities for young people through the arts and service-learning.
Each year, Project YES hosts this large-scale event that encourages and celebrates youth civic involvement. SeLebration 2012 will take place on April 21st in conjunction with Global Youth Service Day, the largest service event in the world occurring in over 100 countries each year. This special event engages youth and community members in at least twenty-five service projects at various sites throughout Boulder County while celebrating service accomplishments of several groups over the prior semester.
Sweet Dreams
Each year, the Project YES hosts "An Afternoon of Sweet Dreams" fundraising event that features the dreams and aspirations of the young people we serve. The event is a community gathering that includes a slideshow program, silent auction and light refreshments. In order to continue offering free and accesible youth-development programming that will provide young people with the opportunities and skills they need to achieve their dreams, Project YES needs community support. Attending An Afternoon of Sweet Dreams is a great chance to meet our staff and youth participants, learn about the wonderful work they do in the community, and ensure this work will continue long into the future by making a contribution to the organization! More information will be provided as the event draws near.
